We are looking to add all levels of Welder/Fabricators from 2nd year apprentices to Journeypersons.

Duties would include:

• Accurately interpreting blueprints, diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals and specifications and translating the interpretation into actions
• Translating the interpretation into actions for required materials and planning the sequence of tasks

· Checking for tooling and info required for each job

· Conducting a final drawing inspection before commencing work

· Preparing raw materials for welding and machining

· Setting up parts correctly and in a safe manner

· Operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding ( GTAW ), gas metal arc welding ( GMAW ), flux-cored arc welding ( FCAW ), plasma arc welding ( PAW ), shielded metal arc welding ( SMAW ), oxy - acetylene welding ( OAW ), resistance welding and submerged arc welding ( SAW )

· Operating manual or semi - automatic flame - cutting equipment

· Operating brazing and soldering equipment

· Operating metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal straightening and bending machines

· Repairing parts of metal products by welding on extra layers
